Internet Safety
Major change does not usually take place unless something devastating happens in a person's life or something tragic occurs. It should not take a child to go missing in, or getting physical abused, in order for a parent to realize that Internet safety is prevalent. Parents should educate themselves on Internet safety and talk with their children as well. They should also be certain blocks that should prohibit children from certain websites.

I agree, it should not take something tragic to open a parents' eyes to the fact that interent safety should be something addressed early on in a child's life. The parent should also block certain websites and even "surf the web" with their children.
