The kids inside of my classroom love starfall.com. This web based educational resource is perfect for the classroom during center time and it is also fascinating to the children. It helps children to build their reading skills all along while catering to one or more of the children's intelligences. For example, while reading the words or pronouncing vowels the children can sing along to one of the songs while gaining the concept that needs to be mastered. I also like the fact of while the computer reads a word, that particular word is highlighted. This lets the child know that is the word that is being pronounced.
This also builds the child's computer skills up on the computer.

I agree with you. After viewing starfall.com I am planning to implement it during center time as well. It is a useful tool for all reading levels since students can read the stories themselves and click on a word when they need help reading it.
